ALEXANDER KHENKIN

Alexander's practice concentrates on the areas of real estate and matrimonial law, family and divorce mediation and education law. Alexander has successfully represented clients ranging from major institutional lenders to businesses and individuals in a wide range of transactions, including purchase, sale, leasing and financing of commercial and residential real estate. Alexander has special training as a family and divorce mediator and has helped numerous couples reach results that are vastly superior to the outcomes of traditional matrimonial litigation. As part of Alexander's trusts and estates practice, he assists clients with various estate planning devices, such as wills, all types of trusts, powers of attorneys, living wills, health care proxies. His practice also includes business succession planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, retirement planning, tax planning and guardianship proceedings.

Alexander is active in professional organizations and in the community. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York State Bar Association.

Alexander was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is fluent in Russian.
